Data collection and Processing Information and Consent
As part of our fundraising activities for support to the poorer children and families in Romania it is necessary for us to engage the help of volunteers and seek the support of individuals. 

You may have been one of our volunteers or supporters in the past or you may wish to just be kept in touch with our activities.  

In order for us to do this and comply with the new Data Protection Regulations we need to ask you to supply your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address {if you have one}.

    ​I give my informed consent for Rainbow Project Plymouth to hold my personal details as above for the specific purposes of contacting me as one of their volunteers or supporters and sending me appropriate information.

Data Protection legislation allows us to process this information as we regard it as being in the Charity’s legitimate interest.

The information will be kept securely by the charity trustees and not passed on to any other individuals without first seeking your agreement. 

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time and your details will be removed and destroyed. 

You also have the right to see any information we hold about you by submitting a written request to the Data Protection Officer and to ask for information which you believe to be incorrect to be rectified.

​Under Data Protection legislation the Charity Trustees of The Rainbow Project Plymouth are the Data Controller and a designated administrator acts as our Data Protection Officer.
